The University of Queensland is very excited to be participating in the SAGE Pilot of the Athena SWAN program.TheSAGE Pilot aims to address the under-representation of women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) disciplines using a rigorous evidence-based accredutation framework. The University of Queensland will officially commence its participation in the SAGE Pilot in September.

UQ staff and students are invited to attend an information session on the SAGE Pilot provided by the SAGE Executive Director, Dr Wafa El-Adhami. The Introduction to the SAGE Pilot information session will provide an overview of the objectives of the SAGE Pilot, the gender equity landscape in STEMM and purpose and benefits of the SAGE Pilot of the Athena SWAN program.
